Tommy Patterson
I am Tommy Patterson, an up-and-coming artist in the world of comic books. Art has always been a major highlight in my life, one that came into focus as a child and has progressed into an education earning me a Bachelor of Science in Studio Art degree and the career in comics I pursue today.
I broke onto the scene with my artistic renderings in titles such as Farscape issues 1-4 and 9-12 for Boom! Studios and the movie adaptation The Warriors issues 4-5 for Dynamite Entertainment. You can also see my fantastic artwork in Tales From Wonderland the White Knight, Red Rose and Stingers from Zenescope Entertainment. After bouncing around and honing my craft for the past three years I have landed with Dynamite Entertainment and am excited to make a splash with the upcoming release The Game of Thrones by RR Martin.
I am active online with friends, fans and fellow artists. I enjoy taking time out to provide guidance to aspiring artists; examples of which can be seen in the bi-monthly article entitled Draw Over! found at www.ComixTribe.com and artist challenges such as www.30characters.com.
When I am not drawing, I still utilize my creative potential as a Graphic Designer, which has been my profession for the past seven years. I call the town of Murray, Kentucky my home, where I reside with my wife and daughter.
